- Increase breastfeeding initiation rates in Riverside County
- Create outlets for moms to meet together and provide peer counseling
- Enable moms to have access to 24-hour free breastfeeding assistance
- Establish free walk-in clinics for mothers experiencing breastfeeding difficulties
- Support every mom's decision to breastfeed by providing helpful tools when necessary
- Increase general public acceptance and support of breastfeeding
- Provide health professionals with current research and breastfeeding education
- Provide support and technical assistance to WIC State and local agencies in the promotion of breastfeeding
